Hot Rolling of heavy plates and sections

Our services:

  • Toll rolling for heavy plates up to 750 mm width and 5 m length in close cooperation with the customer.
  • Cooling tests with laminar and spray cooling in a 5 m long cooling line with a flow rate of max. 10 m³/minute.
  • Execution of rolling tests for the production-related determination of the influence of process parameters on the technological properties.
  • Measurement data acquisition (iba-system) with subsequent analysis and evaluation of the rolling data.
  • Determination of production characteristics for the design criteria of new hot rolling mills.
  • Process models based on plasto-mechanical principles and special algorithms for the pass schedule strategies in hot rolling mills, e.g. in universal beam mills.
  • Development and creation of software programs for the calculation of forming processes such as pass schedule models, rolling data calculation, temperature profiles, etc.
